The Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard covers an area of 3,000 hectares of vines. Red wines are the majority because they represent 93% of the wine production of the sub-region. The latter is located not far from the cities of Avignon and Orange and is installed on terraces with clay soils. The climate is Mediterranean and quite warm. The grape variety is made of Grenache Noir et Blanc, Clairette but also Roussanne which gives an aromatic richness to the wines.
