AOC Pic-Saint-Loup produces red and rosé wines on soils dominated by pebbles, limestone and clay. The climate is Mediterranean but also continental which allows Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grape varieties to develop. The red wines are rather spicy and the rosés marked by aromas of red fruits.
