Ga met ons mee op reis om de unieke wijncultuur van de prachtige Douro-vallei en zijn adembenemende landschappen te ontdekken.
Je wordt tussen 8:00 en 8:30 uur opgehaald bij je hotel of accommodatie in de stad Porto. Je gids zal zichzelf voorstellen, evenals alle andere gasten, en je krijgt uitleg over het dagelijkse programma. De reis begint richting de Douro terwijl je onderweg meer over de regio te weten komt.
Tegen lunchtijd stoppen we in het dorp Pinhão, een historisch dorp in het hart van Douro, bij een traditioneel lokaal restaurant, inclusief een maaltijd van vis, vlees of vegetarisch (we kunnen ook voor uw maaltijd zorgen als u een glutenvrij dieet heeft - laat het ons van tevoren weten). Tijd om jezelf onder te dompelen in het echte Portugal door zijn unieke keuken.
Als bonus maken we ook kleine stops om mooie foto's te maken en overdag de omgeving en de natuur te bewonderen op lokale uitkijkpunten.

You will be picked up at your hotel/accommodation in Porto (other locations that are outside pick-up limits require the setting of a meeting point in Porto).

Travelling to Douro Valley Region

We will drive you from Porto all the way through to the Douro Valley region via the most beautiful and panoramic roads, in one of our 9-seat air-conditioned minivans. You will be accompanied by your driver-guide, that will provide you with detailed information about the history of Port Winemaking in the Douro Region, along with a lot of interesting facts and curiosities along the way.

Stop at the First Winery

We will make a stop at the first local Winery of the tour (to be designated, depending on our partner's timeslots availability), where you will be guided through a visit to the Winery - the Lagares, where the wine is produced, cellars and the then you will be served with a selection of Wines during the Wine Tasting.

Lunch at a local Restaurant

After the first winery, we will make a stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village of Pinhão, where you will be able to experience the local cuisine of typical Portuguese food (options of meat, fish, vegetarian, and Gluten-Free by request).

Stop at the Second Winery

We will make a stop at the second local Winery of the tour (to be designated, depending on our partner's timeslots availability), where you will experience a selection of wines.

Panoramic Photo Stops

Visit some of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region of Peso da Régua and Sabrosa, in the Douro Valley, where you can admire and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and take some pictures to later remember.

Stop at the Second Winery

We will make a stop at the second local Winery of the tour (to be designated, depending on our partner's timeslots availability), where you will be guided through a visit to the Winery - the Lagares, where the wine is produced, cellars, all of that while you taste a selection of local Wines during the visit.

Travelling back to Porto city for Drop-off

After the tour is over, you will be transported back to your hotel/accommodation in Porto, where you can expect to arrive by 5:30/6:00 PM, depending on the traffic volume we encounter along the way.
